Rate: to £ 30 K (full-time (per year)) + Attractive
Night Shift Quality Manager, North Yorkshire. Salary circa 30,000
Our client currently has an opportunity for a Night QA Manager. This is a critical and highly visible position based at our Selby site, which manufactures a wide range of ambient Food products for the major retailers and Blue Chip brands.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will manage the quality assurance procedures, process development and "good manufacturing practice standards".
The successful candidate should ideally :-
1. Be educated to degree level in Food Science,
2. Possess advanced food hygiene and advanced level HACCP
3. Have a minimum of 3 years experience gained in a fast moving food manufacturing environment.
4. Be familiar with retailer COP and audit standards
5. A proven track record in implementing quality management systems to BRC level
6. An awareness of current food legislation and legal compliance standards.
Key aptitudes will include excellent communication, organisational and management skills. Be self motivated and have the ability to initiate and manage change within the technical function. A good standard of PC knowledge is also required.
